1. Data controller
3D Print Barcelona, Carrer de Basea 8, El Born, 08003 Barcelona. Contact: hola@3dprintbarcelona.com
2. What data we collect
- Contact and billing data: name, email, phone and, if you provide them, company, tax ID and delivery address.
- 3D files and configuration: the models you upload and the manufacturing options you select.
- Minimal technical data: server logs necessary for site security and operation.
- How you arrived: the site or campaign you came from, kept only for your browsing session and recorded alongside your order or enquiry if you go on to contact us. It tells us which channels work; it is not shared with third parties and is never used to profile you or for advertising.
- Usage statistics: pages visited, where you arrived from, device type and approximate country, via analytics cookies. They are used in aggregate: they contain neither your name, your email, nor the contents of the files you upload.
We use no advertising or profiling cookies, and we do not share your data with social networks or ad platforms. Analytics cookies are not set until you accept them in the notice shown on arrival: refuse and nothing loads, and the site works exactly the same. You can change your mind at any time from the "Cookies" link in the footer, and withdrawing consent deletes any that were set.
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Producing quotes, manufacturing your order and issuing your invoice — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Meeting tax and accounting obligations — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Maintaining site security — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Knowing which sites and campaigns bring us customers, so we invest where it works — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is first-party information and never leaves our servers.
- Measuring in aggregate how the site is used, in order to improve it — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 22.2 LSSI), which you may withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
4. Retention
3D files are kept for 30 days after delivery so we can handle claims and reprints, and are deleted sooner on request. Billing data is retained for the periods required by tax and commercial law.
5. Recipients
We share data only with the providers needed to deliver the service, and only what each of them needs:
- Hosting provider: their servers run this site and store your orders, your contact details and the files you upload.
- Transactional email provider: sends your invoices and order status notifications.
- Courier: only when you choose delivery, and only with the data needed to deliver it.
- Web analytics provider: aggregate site usage statistics. It receives neither your contact details, nor your orders, nor your files.
- Accountants: billing data, to meet our accounting obligations.
Hosting, email delivery and web analytics are contracted with companies established in the United States. Those transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or, failing that, on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. We do not sell or pass your data to anyone else, and we do not use it for advertising.
You can request the current list of providers at any time by writing to hola@3dprintbarcelona.com.
6. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection by writing to hola@3dprintbarcelona.com. If you believe your request was not handled properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
